To replace game reader socket, is soldering required?

Game reader socket was damaged when daughter stuck a stylus into the slot and will no longer read games. Is this part a simple detach and replace step or require solder installation? Also, where can I purchase a game reader socket?

it requires soldering yes and you can buy it on aliexpress or ebay or some chinese stuff like that
