power switch, shut off after turn on.

I have an LG G3 phone that will intermittently turn itself off, repeatedly when I turn on the back panel switch., Sometimes it will occur 5 times, other times as many as 20 times before it decides to just let me turn it on.

Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix?

The phone has been in an Otterbox case since day one and has never been dropped farther than 2 feet onto carpet.
