over-voltage protection
I made the same mistake yesterday. Painfull indeed! I will never make that mistake again... Ali seems to sell spare motherboard but over 200 dollar = nogo.
I did find threads on overvoltage on older Gopros than hero 3 and there only 1 capacitor needed to change. On the hero 3 I can clearly see a blinking (overheated) spot on a smaller IC block...
