Headset adapter cable issue

I had to buy the adapter kit to use my turtle beach headset on my Xbox one controller. The cable has gone bad and I've had some trouble getting the right one online. It goes from a 2.5mm female to a 3.5mm male with trrs (tip ring ring sleeve) but I don't know how many connections there are in the female end. Anyone know?
