Playstation 2 not detected when connected and turned on

Hello, I have little problem with my PS2 console, I really wanted to play Call of Duty 3 last time but I couldn't do that because when I connected my PS2 to my Samsung TV it simply doesn't detect it.

I tried the same thing on a CRT TV and works just fine, could you guys tell me what's wrong with the TV or the console?

The TV is Samsung LE32A456C2D

I have also connected Xbox 360 to the TV and works perfectly, same goes for my PC
