My nook will not turn on. what do I do?

Why would my nook be overheated?

Unlike a laptop which has a built-in fan to keep the unit cool. The Nook battery will get hot even w/ a few hrs use as most of the time its laying in ur lap or on a flat surface where no air can circulate & the heat from the battery has no place to go building up & overheating then ur Nook usually freezes & u have to reboot. Makes me so mad! To minimize this hassle, my remedy is when possible I keep a small fan @ my workstation to put by my nook & I try to remember not to lay it flat but prop it up to let air circulate. No more overheating, yeah!

Your nook is over heattd because you have been useing it to muçh.all things that you downloaded or the built in apps take up spaces.When you take up to much space your battery drains faster and makes it over heat easier

You need to see what you're using when it overheats. Close the apps you are not using at the moment. Uninstall the apps that you are not using often; keep them in the cloud. Try not using your nook while it's charging.
