Why does my portafilter does not work properly?

Why does my portafilter does not drain all the coffee out? I have cleaned the machine many times and taken the portafilter apart but everytime I finish making the shot and take the portafilter out there are still a lot of pressure there and a lot of remaining mixture of coffee and water.

You may be using to course a coffee grind and it's clogging the filter.

Actually, too fine of a grind will make it harder to push the water through; a too-coarse grind will result in weak coffee that almost gushes out. Tamping too hard will also produce a similar result, and really isn't necessary on this machine as it comes with a pressurized portafilter.
