1 Are the NFC chip available for purchase?
Like many others, my Gamepad has a defective NFC on board. Anytime the Gamepad attempts to access NfC (amibo) the Gamepad displays an error and goes black - shuts down. Nintendo wants to charge to repair it and refurb Gamepads are pretty pricey. Any ideas on where to find this part?

I have heard you might be able to fix this problem by checking that the wires are still connected to the chip and it is firmy in place. I am afraid to try this but might be worth it as the repairs are so costly. Does anyone know how to get the chip?
