headset icon on the screen cannot be removed

I plug in speakers to my lg g2 phone and the headset icon still appears on the screen in the right side besides the battery icon.now my speakers are not working only I can hear music only if I connect earphones please give me your advice

You may have to replace headset connector or modify the contacts which detects, either headset plugged or not.

I already changed the headset connector but still the headset icon appears on the screen... I cannot even make calls without plugging the headset
