I replaced the screen

I replaced the screen and it was working fine yesterday, i was on netflix and it was working fine. This morning the screen was on but the touch was not working, so i took it apart and now the screen displays a dark blue almost black light and no image is visible. Is the part defective or did i install something incorrectly?
