Failure in knock sensor circuit 1 ( Bank 1 or single sensor)

Hi, my 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES is showing that error on the scanner, it's presenting ignition failures after 4 or more hours after the last use. It was recently overhauled and for 3 weeks it didn't present any failures, the only issue was that it overheated up to 3/4 of the heat gauge and was able to stabilize it in time. A mechanic says that it may be the gas pump and another one that the valves of the engine were not calibrated properly
