mom had given her old iphine4s for using . when i reset it it asked apple id and password that was used to setup this iphone . but my mom has no idea about the id .. i have tried mum two three ids but couldnt get it unlocked if u guyz can help me fin a solution

Unfortunately if you don't know the Apple ID and password, there is nothing you can do.
iCloud lock as it is known as, is there to prevent a stolen phone being used.
Of course, even if it isn't stolen, there isn't anything you can do except try and remember the password to it.
