Surface RT network adapter - Defective

  1. My brand new, gently used (and out of warranty)Surface RT network adapter has stopped working, so I'm not able to connect to the internet.
  2. The rest of the unit works just fine.
  3. Any chance I can replace the network adapter myself?
  4. Any advise on where to purchase a replacement adapter?
  5. Inside the unit, where specifically, is the adapter located and what does it look like?
  6. Photos appreciated.
