My 2DS does not power on at all, what to do?

I bought a 2DS 1 year ago and it was working fine until 2 months ago it shut down at random. I charged it many times but it still does not turn on. The battery light does turn on but the system itself seems to not turn on at all

I tried reseating the battery and that did not help
