Removing HTC developer mode warning

Howdy all!

I activated the developer mode on my HTC One m8 but now I have this annoying bold red message about this phone being a development phone and should not be sold outside of HTC without written permission, or something along those lines. I know that there is a file I should download and I'm familiar with hex editors but my questions are:

1: what file?

2: how to download it from the device

3: how to re-upload it

I assume editing the binary wouldn't be so much a problem, I used to be a big fan of crack me's. The whole reason for the development mode thing is that i am attempting to unlock the phone to all networks.
