Are these symptoms of a damaged screen/digitizer?

Hi,

I have an iPad Air which was dropped and resulted in a white/gray screen with horizontal lines. At the recommendation of another member, I replaced the LCD. This corrected the video problem. Thank you, Jim from cellularrepair.

However, I now have a touch problem where the touch signal is sensed in a different position than where I actually touch the screen. For example, if I touch 5 on the passcode entry screen, the 1 is selected. Also, the touch sensing seems to be intermittent in that there is sometimes no response from a touch at all. I'm now thinking that the screen/digitizer may also be damaged and need replacing. Thoughts?
