Why won't my disk read in my player?
My player won't play my disks, it just keeps spinning and spinning. Sometimes switching the disk works, but most of the time it doesn't.

I got a digital labz portable DVD player I bought for my grandson at a church flea market the unit looks brand new but it won't play the DVDs are the DVD readers expensive to replace

There could be a problem with the disc reading mechanism. Maybe this mechanism has been damaged or scratched, in which case it will have to be replaced or warrantied. If you want to keep the player, then look for a tech store nearby that can deal with this problem, and simply replace just the disc mechanism.
