Why is my screen lit but no picture?

My tablet screen has recently gone black...well..more a blue color but it won't give me a picture. Its got touch and sound but no picture. I'm not sure what's going on. Please help. Thanks!

I have this same issue with my Galaxy Tab 4 7". Was in use and then lost video. I have tried rebooting but this does not resolve the issue.
