Screen glitched out of nowhere

I was watching a video on youtube , the phone is new , not even a week yet , and while watching , the screen just split in two verticaly , like this https://goo.gl/kxMCXk , it looks like this even when its shut down and charging , looks like this even in the phone bios , even factory resetted it and did't help.The android 5.0 unlock thing (the one where you can unlock the phone with its screen off by tapping 4 squares) works ! but once I'm in , its dead. I can't think it is hardware since I haven't dropped it once (didn't get the time to in one week) and I was just calmly holding it while watching the video. Please help!
