How do you delete the songs off my ipod video?

just restore the iPod with iTunes and all songs are gone.

P.S. Dont forget to uncheck the "automatic sync" box in the Music Tab of iTunes.

If you want to delete some songs but not others, plug your iPod into your computer. You should see your iPod under the "Devices" tab in the left hand column of iTunes. Click on your device. Then click on the "Music" tab in the window that appears. Then click the box next to "Sync Music" and the button that reads "Selected playlists, artists, and genres." Then you can pick a playlist that includes only the songs that you want. When you hit the "Apply" button, the iPod will resync, including the music that you checked and deleting anything you didn't select.
