How to bypass activation screen?

I am trying to reset my iPad 4, model number MD510 family A1458. Someone stole my iPhone and got into my email and Apple ID and changed all my passwords. I live out of town and it is such a long drive. I am trying to get into my iPad to finish my school project. Someone please help !

The only way to get past the activation screen is by phoning Applecare. Proof of identity and ownership of the device is required. It's worth nothing that the iPad has been restored if it's at the activation screen, so will contain no data
