Why does my computer not turn on when charging?
My computer won’t turn on and I have the power adaptor plugged into my computer and into an outlet.

If your laptop computer does not turn on when plugged into the power adaptor the power adaptor may be faulty. Try testing the adaptor on another computer to see if it will charge that computer. If it doesn’t then you will need to replace the adaptor. If the adaptor does work on another computer then the battery is faulty and will need to be replaced. no wasn't battery motherboard is the issue

Bad charger controller chip. Fairly easy to fix IF you can find schematics and the location of the chip and that is the problem. The repair is simple. It's knowing where and what to repair is the problem.
