Were you trying to install a custom rom? sounds like you managed to damage your OS boot menu . You can try a hard reset.
How to Factory / Hard Reset Nokia Lumia 520
Please be aware when you do this you will loose all data so remove your sim and sd card before attempting to reset the phone . Hope this helps.
