I purchased a Wii U off of craigslist but the guy didn't tell me the disk drive was jammed. it still seems to be trying to do something as it will occasionally sound like it's spinning up. The eject button (obviously) does nothing. Is there a way to take the drive apart to remove the disk?

Have you tried pressing eject while shaking it up and down? I know it sounds dumb, but it worked for several computers that I've had disks jammed in.

I had not tried that, just did but unfortunately no luck. I'm wondering if the eject button is even functioning at this point because it doesn't seem to even try to eject the disk when I press it.
