cell phone feel into water and is not startin only

I've had a couple phones fall into water. Whenever that happens, I immediately switch them off and remove the battery, then open them up as much as I can, (to expose as much of the internals as possible) and dry the inside using tissue paper and a blow-dryer.

I realise it's too late for that, but you can still try opening it up and seeing if there's moisture still inside, drying it up, and cleaning it out properly. Hopefully no corrosion or other damage has been caused by the water.
