My device has been stop working then it works but it becomes very slow, I cant explore r copy any thing from it and there is a strange sound like beebing wile working ?????

I think the HDD in the passport is dying and you need to get the stuff off of it, but don't copy everything at once and that may kill it from to much load so copy about 5-10 GB at a time and then turn it off and let it sit for 30 min and repeat...

I have such a problem.
I asked a question about fixing the problem, and the answer I heard was: It's time to use the hard drive as a backup. Laugh
The hard drive head is defective and repairing it does not make it look like the first day.
