My iPod is messing up

So my ipod touch 5th gen. Was turning on with the apple logo and then it would cut off. I went on a computer and fixed it but right after, I attempted to turn it off butn it started doing the same thing and when i went on the computer again, the ipod wasnt popping up. I dont know how to fix it, does anybody have any help?
