I thought I needed a new charger but it seems to be the connector in the tablet. Can this be replaced or am I just out of the $400? I only used it for a couple of months on vacation and went back to my laptop when I got home. I have pictures I would like to save.

Contact Asus to have them fix it for you. When did you buy this tablet? $400 seems like a lot. I got the Memo pad 10 too, but not the HD version. But still, the price should be a lot lower. If your tablet has a bad battery and it's under warranty, Asus will fix it free of charge. They fixed my tablet twice when I was having a problem with the camera, then the battery.
