hi, what is the flex cable that runs behind the top of phone, its under the plastic bracket that holds ear speaker and front camera, there is points on the top logic board that connect to it,

Are you talking about that black flex cable that runs at the top of the plastic bracket that can easily be cut because there is adhesive on it to stick onto the screen's metal frame?
I cut that once (on accident of course) and the phone's GPS ended up having no signal. So I just set it to device only mode.
Two golden connection points on the upper daughter-board right? Getting that part is hard.
TL:DR - It's an GPS antenna flex that connects to the daughter-board.

Where do you get the part. Found out about that bugger the hard way.
I don't know, only way I know is getting it from another phone.
Not even worth the trouble replacing it. Might as well use the phone with no GPS.
