Why is my pc blank and makes a long beep
when i switch my pc on its does a long beep then two short beeps and has a blank screen.

Alicia, a long beep then two short beeps and has a blank screen on HP, I believe this means connection to or video card failure. If you can try reseating the ram and unplug video card and plug back in. Video card may be on its way out.
