not charging properly why?

My problem is my tablet is not charging everytime i charge it, i need to charge it directly to the battery to charge it. I'll try to bring it to a tablet technician. then they try to repair the charging port..but still not charging, can you help me to diagnos what is the main problem? Please ty.
