Why isn’t my video player finding my DVD?
I’m trying to watch a movie on my laptop but the video player isn’t finding my DVD. What should I do?

Your video player most likely is not finding your DVD because your disc is scratched and or too damaged. If this is the case, the problem is not with your CD drive but with the DVD itself. If this is not the case, your operating system might not be recognizing the drive itself. Try updating Windows and if that does not work check out the troubleshooting guide as it has information how to replace the optical drive.
