3 Why won't the wifi on my computer work?
The wifi is not showing up on my computer, even though the router is on.

If you can’t see the wifi signal on your computer even if the router is turned on, try restarting the router. Try unplugging the router, waiting a minute, and then plug the adapter back into the power outlet. There are probably hundreds of possibilities and without more information it would be hard to tell. A few basic things to look at though, some laptops have physical wifi buttons either on or off the keyboard that need to be turned one. Also you driver may be corrupt.
