The drums turns in normal wash mode but as soon as the indicator light blinks between wash and spin the drum stops spinning and a strange rumbling noise is heard. We did do the pull plug out for 1 minute/open door 6 times in less than 12 seconds thing. WE have an LG Direct Drive front load washer. Do you know what it might be?

Lid Switch Assembly

Drive Belt
Inspect the drive belt to determine if it is broken or if it is loose on the pulleys. If the drive belt is broken or loose, replace it.

It’s a direct drive so no transmission. The motor is directly connected to the drum
direct drive it has no belt or transmission
hahahah they did not help at all. I had the same problem. It will not spin and I have no transmission and no belt because it is direct drive.
