Got a 6 plus that is like this, does it need new touch ic or connector?
touch is bad so that needs doing and grey bars at top
the screen is fine, i just want to make sure the phone will display fine if touch IC is fixed

If you're getting grey bars at the top 100% touch ic guaranteed. I also noticed your top right backlight is dim. If it's still this way after swapping the touch ic you need to replace part of the backlight circuit as well.

You know on the top right that is usually either LCD connector on logic board or LCD ribbon cable needs to be pushed in more.
it can happen in either corner i have it on a 6 but not sure if it is, it only happened on the 6 because i test screens constantly so it got damaged. the connector looks fine to me
