1 screen says zoom did not operate properly and camera will not operate
camera will not turn on. screen says,zoom did not operate properly,remove battery and try again,nothing happens.

Hello cpcal73, my camera has the same problem, I emailed Samsung directly and they answer me. They said it maybe a weak battery, or my charge cord is not working. My battery is not charging, and I have a brand new battery, so I know it's not the battery. I've tried several cords, and none of them work, so it must be something internal. If you contact them, they will respond. They responded to me in two days. They said it could be repaired, but didn't mentioned how much.

i was also faced this problem but after facing it two to three days I goes to my nearest local camera market and found an uncle who knows repairing. He took almost 1 hour and make my camera in working condition. According to him this situation is happens when you put some hard pressure on the camera lens it goes out of working. He charged 1500 Pakistani rupees from me.

The zoom may be stuck. Try forcing it to move without damaging anything.
