Hi,

Have you checked that the speaker is not 'muted'?

Have you tried plugging in a set of headphones into the speaker's headphone socket to check if the audio can be heard there?

Have you tried using a stereo audio cable connected between the music source and the speakers aux in jack to see if the speaker works and that it is not a BT problem?

What have you tried?

Hi! It's not muted. I have tried plugging in my headphones, it has audio coming out from it. But if i pull out the headphone theres no sound at all.

Hi, Did you try using a stereo audio cable connected to the aux in socket to see if the main speakers work OK? Unpair the BT first before you try.

The aux was working well. After that I tried connecting it using BT it has a sound for like 5 minutes then after that no more.

Hi,

OK. Try using a different BT source (another phone perhaps- don't forget to "unpair" the first device) to prove whether the problem is with the BT in the speaker or the BT in the first source device. If it is still happening with the speaker the problem is there, if it is OK then it is with the first source device.

Then we'll go on from there.

Make sure when you test that you do not go beyond effective BT range of 10 metres (30') between devices so as not to confuse the issue.

Hi,

Thank you for persevering with my suggestions.

As your speaker seems to work OK when using the aux input but not when using the BT, my suggestions now are:

1. Try connecting and switching on, the AC adapter to the speaker and then connecting it to a BT source and see if works OK.

My thoughts on this are that using the BT requires more power than when using the aux input, so this test is just designed to eliminate the speaker battery as the potential source of the problem.

2. Ensure that any other BT capable device within range has its' BT disabled so as to eliminate any potential BT conflict as the source of your problem. It may be advisable to do this in conjunction with the test above. I realize that your speaker is capable of 'handling' two BT devices at once, but to find the problem, is a process of elimination. What works and what doesn't work.

If the above fails to find the cause, then to me, as obvious as it sounds, it seems there is a problem with the BT in your speaker. Unfortunately there is no information available which could allow for more ways to conclusively prove this, such as reloading the 'firmware' in the speaker in case it is corrupted or even resetting the speaker back to a 'factory default' state as you can with mobile phones to prove whether it is a hardware or a software problem.

How long have you had the speaker?

There is a 12 month manufacturer's warranty on your speaker if you are in the USA and a 24 month warranty if you are in the EU. If you have had the speaker for less than this period of time then I suggest that you consult the warranty information that came with the speaker documentation as to what you have to do to make a claim for a warranty repair or replacement.

If you have had it for just a bit longer than the warranty period, say just a month more, I would still contact the manufacturer anyway and tell them of your disappointment with their product etc., and ask if there is anything that they can do to help you. It never hurts to ask and the worst that they can say is no.

If you cannot find the warranty information here is a link.

Thank you so much for your help. I will try ur suggestions. As to the warranty i have no idea how long was this speaker purchased coz it was given as a gift. Btw Im in Asia. Singapore to be exact. Thanks again!

Hi,

You're welcome.

There should still be at least a 12 month warranty on your product.

I believe that it is not rude to ask the gift donor when they purchased the gift for you and if they still have the receipt (or proof of purchase) to see if it is still covered by the warranty.

It is not their fault that the gift has developed technical problems. They obviously purchased it in good faith that it was a quality product. These days electronic devices are very reliable unfortunately these things sometimes happen. That is what the warranty is for.

If it is still covered by the warranty see if you can come to some arrangement with the donor as to getting the speaker repaired or replaced under warranty, by the manufacturer.

Ok. Thanks again! I really appreciate your effort.

I have the same problem and I do not know how to solve it, because I bought it from the USA and I live in Brazil.
