fail to turn on

My ipad air 2 has broken glass .It has picture and good digitize touch screen.I removed whole assembly and order another screen. Now it does not turn on with new one. I think I did not do anything wrong , Do I have wrong part or defective part?

Check ... Waitamin... What do you mean whole assembly? It's two parts. Anyways, try the original part, and see if it will display there
