Chevy Cavalier 1998 4 cylinder 2.2
When cold it stalls but if I push gas pedal to the floor it slowly starts to go but if I back up then try to go forward it just won't move at all so I have to wait until the engine gets warm (hot ) then it runs just fine.
Not long ago I replaced transmission fluid and filter. I was told that I put too much fluid in the transmission, could that be it ? I replaced coolant temp sensor but didn't help.

@garc , Garcia, There a lot of things that can cause cold stalling issues bad sensors TPS, MAP, MAF, IAC, O2, failing knock senor, faulty injectors, dirty throttle body, EGR valve, vacuum leak, etc.etc.. As a first step have the car scanned for trouble codes as it may identify the exact problem. Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track. If not comfortable working on your vehicle have a good mechanic have a look diagnose and estimate repair. Also have some transmission fluid removed before it causes damage(like blowing seals). That's a lot of possible causes It seems I won't find the problem on my own so thank you for the advice , I'll take it to autozone for a code read
