Why are there only lines on screen?

I just carefully replaced the digitizer screen on the iPad Mini2. After reassembly there are only lines on screen (see attached image).

1.I unplugged the battery first during disassembly

2.All wires and contacts that were "covered" are covered

Anyone have any ideas what I did wrong?

Ipad Minis are challenging, the circle in the bottom right hand corner is a broken lcd and will have to be replaced again. : (
