My Nextbook serial number yfg0714105815 will only stay on if plugged in is it my battery or is it were I'm using a cell phone charger I'm using my motog4 battery charger don't have the original charger if so how much for charger and a battery I've tried several different charger but have same problem work as long as on charge it shows charging battery show 90percent and still. Die unless charger on it

if a battery isn't sustaining the device then youll need to replace the battery.
odds are the battery has died and cant hold a charge long enough anymore to power the device.

Look up a guide on this site and replace the battery.
Batteries only last for so many recharges. In the future, good battery practices are to allow it to run down to approx. 15% and then fully recharge it before using it again. This will help your next battery to last longer.

I had the same problem with my nextbook nx16a11264xd. I was using a universal charger with selectable voltage/polarity. I finally decided to open the case and check the batteries voltage. I unplugged the batteries connector and tested the voltage, to my surprise the multimeter read 4.16V. I reconnected the batteries, snapped the case back on and I was surprised once again the tablet now charges. It also stays on when not connected to the charger. I can only imagine by disconnecting the batteries was similar to a hard factory reset (this is done with the power off, hold the volume up button then press and hold the power button for 5-7 seconds). Also make sure the charger you are using outputs 5V and at least 1500 mA. This post is probably too late to help you but hopefully it will help others with this problem.
