Can you access the internet OK?
Have you tried updating the Play Store app?
Open the play store app, tap Settings scroll down to and tap Build Version.
Do you mean space in the phone's Internal storage area or on a SD Card inserted in the phone? By default apps are downloaded to and installed in the internal storage area.
Are the apps that you want to download, compatible with the Android version installed in your phone?
