How come my phone doesnt pick up any wi-fi signals at all?

When i turn my wi-fi on and search for any available network, it just keeps searching and doesn't find any networks. It just starting happening. All my other devices find the networks no problem. What happened? Is it my wireless adapter on my phone or something?
