Camera will not power on without cable plugged in (full battery too)
I dropped my go pro off a coffee table onto a tile floor while it was recording and fell at most 2 feet, it shut off and wouldn't power back on. I tried new batteries (all which work on my other GoPro Hero 5) and would not power on.
It does power on when I have it plugged in with the USB cord, but turns off immediately after I unplug it.
I'm not particularly tech savvy but I assume the drop knocked something loose in the battery housing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's about 2 weeks old so it's a little frustrating.
Thanks,
Lee

Thanks for the suggestion. I think that's above what I'm comfortable with regarding at home repair. Do you know if I can just mail the camera into GoPro for repairs or would you suggest going to a local shop/Best Buy?
Thanks,

You certainly should be able to send it in for a repair, but you need to contact GoPro for that process, there may be a fee or you may still be in warranty, but do call them and find out your options.
