MP3 or AAC not working

I was trying to set an AAC file as my alarm tone, but it said the device doesn't support that file type. I converted it to MP3 and, again, it's not supported apparently. I checked the phone's characteristics and it clearly says that MP3 is supported, so why is it not working?

Going to "Music" and playing the file also doesn't work.

Model is Blu Elite 3.8
