A completely different black screen problem

When I go on the camera software, the gallery works fine but when I click to use the camera it transitions, but it never loads, there is no text, no sound, just blackness. It's a shame too. I really wanted to use the camera again. I know not much people use the dsi anymore but someone pls help.
