How do you remove microphone interference from wifi antenna?

I just got a GoPro hero Black through Ebay. I don't have a receipt to have it replaced through warranty. Is there a way to remove that "helicopter" sound being picked up by the mic? Only happens while recording with the wifi on.

My only option right now is record without using the app, but i lose the ability of using my phone as a viewfinder.
