Can I upgrade to the 640GB drive (5400) or is 500GB (7200) the max?

I am not sure from the site if the A1151 will accept a 640 Gig hard drive or if the 500 GB is the maximum. Is there any limit at all? If one is made, could you put in a 1 TB drive?

It will accept a 640 GB or 1 TB laptop drive (Western Digital now makes a 1 TB laptop drive).

500 GB was the largest laptop drive at the time of writing, and the largest iFixit sold. We'll work on updating that text. Thanks!

Ben--what source for the 1TB drive? ifixit and newegg don't list it.

Some companies are working on 7200RPM 1TB Laptop drives (Seagate), but right now, there is no 7200 RPM 2.5" SATA drive, give it a month or two, and im sure something will have surfaced.

It has a height of higher than the 9.5 maximum height. Will it fit? The largest I could find that would fit is the 640 Western Digital Drive.
