There is a ding in my frame, didn't drop it, so don't know where it comes from.
Sent it to Dynafix (dutch repair company) but they gave me an estimate of 270 EUR, so I declined it. Now I am wondering, can I fix this myself?

I think you'll need to live with it. You could try getting a case which hides it.
Sadly, dings like this are hard to undo. You would need to completely take the phone apart and then using some small punches bang the area back out. But, even then it will still be visible. Sorry :-{

Hey Daan,
I also have the 6p and I also have this ding on my frame. More than likely it happened when you had the phone somewhere and it got bent. For me that was having it in my back pocket. If you look at the phone, the design aint all that hot to prevent a bend like this. The button is pretty much in the middle of phone. Which makes this part really weak against stress like this. I'm just going to hide the ding with a case. It's way too much trouble replacing the frame.
