How to replace the battery?
The unit will no longer hold a charge we suspect its the battery but Garmin does not support self repair

The hardest part is actually finding a battery that fits. The iPod Mini battery fits perfectly and lasts longer too. Here's a blog post with more details:

The blog post has a complete tutorial with photos on how to do this - very helpful.
Phone Garmin to ask for a replacement battery, they will offer you a brand new one for £58! Just send back the old one. I sent the old one on the Monday and got a brand new one on the Thursday! Amazing.

You must RUN the software coming with your computer and make the test for battery.
Normally when you start and the coming o.system coming press the F2 or esc depend of your mark of computer, and enter and follow the step.
